9月8日讯根据赛程安排，国足将在18强赛第二轮主场对阵沙特队。根据之前的报道，国足近期在大连备战时仅有不到20名媒体记者到场采访。记者裴力发文称，媒体群里报名媒体快300人了，但因为媒体没钱，很多人要等到赛前一天才会来。
裴力在个人微博中写道：媒体群里报名媒体快300人了。还不包括部分摄影摄像记者和技术工种。不是媒体不关心，是媒体真没钱了。现在差旅费能省就省，很多人要等到赛前一天才会来。还有不少是自费，但自费也要来看国足一眼。
裴力补充道：18强赛对中国队来说，就是世界杯。关不关心，看看微博热搜不就知道了。关注度一直都在，只不过很多人被迫得换一种方式。
